Pictures from the sprayer tell the story! Around 3weeks ago I sprayed half of this farm ON TIME with a product that had been evaluated and recommended by Extension. Only a field road separating these two pictures. One on left was untreated for jassid, one on right was treated.

Getting beaucoup calls about this in GA cotton. 25 years ago I would have called it “bronze wilt”; today I call it symptoms of cotton leaf roll dwarf virus. Found across varieties, but more severe in some varieties, we seek to understand why so much so early this year. UGA EXT

Sharing again because of the number of calls we are receiving this week on fall armyworms. Remember chemical control is only recommended for armyworms less than 3/4" long. If armyworms are greater than 3/4", harvest is recommended!
