You can argue whether the @Eimolad project is successful or not — everyone is entitled to their opinion.
But no one gets to accuse the Eimolad team of being lazy or running off with funds. Absolutely no one.
The team invested far more money into the project than they ever received from mint revenue or DFINITY grants.
If you're that curious, just do a little research — the team wallet is public.
Let me educate you a bit about Eimolad.
Even though I’m no longer part of the team, I’m still one of the oldest Eimoladians out there.
Eimolad never supported by any ICP project.
It never received backing from any ICP project or regional ICP community.
It was only supported by the ICP community and a few OG ICPeople.
Projects I worked for — ones that I refused money from, ones I only asked for future support — turned their backs when I asked for a simple collaboration tweet for Eimolad.
Others demanded free NFTs in return.
Guess what? The Eimolad team gave every collab partner free NFTs without asking — I personally handled every airdrop and collected all the wallet addresses.
Right before Eimolad's mint, another project — promoted by DFINITY and several major ICP projects — tried to launch.
Their sale failed and was postponed.
Because of the anxiety and mistrust they caused in the community, Eimolad — despite its massive hype — sold only 700 NFTs, even after collecting 2000 wallets for the whitelist.
They wrecked community confidence. They destroyed the momentum in the ICP NFT ecosystem.
While Eimolad continues to build and deliver, that project has changed hands twice — and both teams have since abandoned the ICP ecosystem entirely.
The other projects and influencers that supported them? They've vanished too.
And yet, Eimolad kept building.
Even with only 700 NFTs sold (700 x 6 ICP = ~4200 ICP), the team refused to drop prices or use the rest for airdrops.
They burned the remaining supply — because they keep their word.
They received no direct funding from DFINITY besides publicly available grants.
Even in the recent grant program, they were eligible for $50,000 and only got $10,000 because they couldn't complete the rest.
And still — all funds received are far below what the team personally spent on building the project.
This is a team that sold 700 NFTs and built a 100% on-chain game.
They dropped the Weapons collection as a free airdrop.
They built their own wallet, marketplace, and token.
They never tried to sell a second collection, even though the Humans collection is ready.
They never pushed an SNS sale.
They only took money once, from the community — and gave them actual products in return.
Love the game or not — they created a visually stunning, play-and-earn game.
And it’s not just some Windows install — it’s fully on-chain.
Without any backing.
Without scamming.
Without lies.
They funded it themselves and gave their holders multiple profitable exit opportunities.
Criticize the game. Criticize the team. That’s fair.
But accuse them of running away with funds or being lazy?
That just exposes your ignorance.

Did you know DSCVR is consistently hitting over 70k DAU, making us one of the largest Web3 social networks?
Dig into that data and more in our official dashboard, now on @DuneAnalytics!

DSCVR has been above 70k over the last week+, still climbing. Web3 is at a tipping point as nontraditional web3 apps are witnessing massive growth relative to the previous cycles. A steady 500k DAU is possible for a single web3 consumer app soon. Lots of untapped potential.
