For all you fellow Winnipegers using our public transit everyday encountering issues or funny problems.Tweet away; not at all associated with @winnipegtransit
This city is so backwards. A new master transit plan for buses? Does Winnipeg ever think for the future & look at other cities and what they offer as public transit? Buses are used to feed transportation such as a light rail system.

Winnipeg posts $83M deficit for 2022, a modern record for the provincial capital. Pandemic, snow clearing primary culprits #wpgpoli https://t.co/iriCp7yr5i
If @cityofwinnipeg planned properly the entire city wouldn’t look like it does today. If they had planned for the future instead f opting for something cheaper, and then adding it after there wouldn’t be these issues. #wpgtransitproblems#mbpoli#wpgpoli#winnipeg
The city of Winnipeg is spending 500 million on buses that share the same roads as cars trucks traffic lights & construction! How is this attracting people to ride public transit in #winnipeg we need light rail not buses #mbpoli#wpgpoli#winnipegtransit#winnipegtransitproblems
Not transit related but hey @cityofwinnipeg there is a bunch of crater potholes WB Inkster just past Sheppard, right hand lane. You should probably mark that off so no one totals their car or truck. Pretty sure that’s unsafe #wpgpoli#potholes#winnipeg
I couldn’t agree more !! Better off taking your car anywhere than a bus that drives on the same road as vehicles with no assigned lanes #winnipegtransitproblems#winnipegtransit
@winnipegtransit Driving VS Bussing
it takes approximately 14-20 minutes in the morning for me to drive to work. Regardless of where you live there are no appropriate bus routes that take you to fort whyte alive. This is disgusting absolutely horrendous. Almost 90 minutes for a 15 minute drive.
@winnipegtransit It was 6:15 pm. It was the same 17 as last Saturday that I complained about. For two Saturdays in a row the 17 at 30257 has been extremely late. This time it was so late I missed my connecting bus. This kind of crap is extremely unacceptable
@Canadivan@WinnipegTMC@winnipegtransit Yes you just have to walk down a few blocks to another stop either way. But some might now know about the reroute and still be waiting at their usual stop in this cold, which sucks !
MANITOBA TO EXPAND COVID-19 RAPID ANTIGEN TESTING PROGRAMS TO CRITICAL SERVICE AREAS
Again The transit system is not essential also is exempt from all Covid safety. there are already too many bus operators sick to keep buses running. @HStefansonMB spend a day on a bus.
Mall hours are extended until 9pm As an employee I’m not off until 9:30
Waiting 30 minutes for a bus at a mall is absurd, and it being the last bus, also absurd
What are the odds @winnipegtransit adjusts the bus schedule to suit the new mall hours?? 0.00%
