And that’s the same direction Xelis is built for — protocol-level confidentiality, hidden balances, and a Layer-1 BlockDAG designed from scratch for privacy and scalability.
Smart contracts go live on December 13, 2025 — a major milestone for the privacy sector.

@xelis_project isn't another EVM fork.
It's a Layer 1 built from scratch in Rust around four native concepts:
⚡ BlockDAG 🔐 Confidential balances 📜 Smart contracts ⛏️ Proof of Work

@Polymarket I'll say just one thing: If you haven't read about XELIS yet, you're missing out on one of the most interesting projects in the field of privacy.
Do your research... then judge for yourself.

Compute without decrypting. 🔥
#XELIS brings homomorphic encryption directly into Smart Contracts, so your applications can work with confidential values natively.

A new #XELIS release is out! v1.23.0
It is recommended to update when you have some free time.
it contains:
- new optimizations (including AVX-512 support) resulting in much faster ZK Proofs verification along others.
- new benchmarks (`cargo bench --bench transactions`)
- bug fixes (DB corruption sled / on auto pruning mode / fast sync nodes)
- Silex standard library is updated (add comments for each function, rename some functions...)
- RPC Methods API to fetch all functions registered and a description is added on each.
- Added many tests to prevent any regression.
- Commits & releases are now signed using GPG
- CI/CD: pipelines on new releases & pull requests trigger automatic audit of dependencies and others security checks.
- Seed nodes are now retrieved from DNS
For people using pre-compiled binaries, download and swap the binaries.
For others running from source code, git pull, compile and run it again.
Feel free to DM me in case of any issue.
