Russian state media and officials have claimed the Poseidon can trigger a 500-meter radioactive tsunami to swamp coastal regions.

However, many scientists argue that while the weapon would cause massive radioactive contamination, the physical energy required to create a tsunami of that scale from a single explosion is not supported by physics.

When Russia threatens with nuclear weapons, they forget that the US and NATO also have access to them. Russia seems to believe that the U.S. is not ready to use them.
