I want you to imagine that God, in his sovereignty, decided to send his son, Jesus Christ, to be born in the year 1993 instead of 4-6 BC (hypothetical, not heresy 😁).

Let’s *pretend* the story is largely the same. He has a relatively normal childhood, starts a ministry when he’s about 30 years old: Water into wine, raising the dead, all the things. It’s the greatest true story of all-time.

And because of our fallen human nature, just like we did back in 33 AD, we kill Jesus Christ in 2026.

He dies, is buried, and He rises on the third day. And then Jesus in his resurrected form commands his disciples to spread the Gospel to all people and all nations.

ALL people?!?! That’s insane. Remember this is 2026. The world population was 200-300 million in 33 AD. It’s 8.3 BILLION in 2026.

In that moment, with such a monumental task, how might the disciples go about accomplishing it?

Well, they could travel the world and preach like they did back then. God made a way for them. He always does.

But if there was a tool available to them that allowed them to reach BILLIONS of people around the world, would they have used it?

You can imagine John being like, “I don’t know man, I don’t want people to think we’re trying to be 'influencers' or something.” I hear that one all the time from faithful men.

And then maybe Matthew chimes in: “But… isn’t that what we’re trying to do? To influence people to bend their knee to the lordship of Jesus?”

I would answer: Yes. Yes we are.

So what is the point I’m making with this hypothetical? Mostly, that we still share the same mission of the original Disciples. In 2026, we are commanded to go and make disciples of all nations.

And unlike Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, we don’t have to strap sandals on our feet and walk hundreds of miles to reach the lost in distant lands. Sometimes, it can be done at the push of a button.

We’ve seen the power of media and social media used for all sorts of evil: lies, horrifying images, fear, division. I’d argue it’s been one of Satan’s most effective tools.

However, what we have yet to fully witness, are the wonders the living God can perform when this tool is wielded at scale for HIS glory.

And I feel in my spirit that this may be underway. I’ve worked in the media space for nearly 2 decades and seen a lot of success in the world. I’ve been blessed to work with a bunch of people with some very large platforms, billions upon billions of impressions on content produced by my hands.

But a few of years ago, I took a step of obedience and vowed to use the talents and gifts God gave to me to do HIS will instead of my own. And let me tell you something, I’ve never seen anything like what I’m seeing in the Christian space.

One quick example: I’m honored to have the opportunity to work on a podcast you may or may not have heard of called @TheLiveFreePod. The numbers would blow your mind.

Within 12 months, the show is regularly ranked #1 among all Christian podcasts on Apple podcasts, and regularly ranked higher than popular secular shows like Call Her Daddy. We also have an incredibly talented, faithful, Bible-believing Pastor named @howertonjosh, which helps quite a bit. (Shoutout @CarlosErazoGTG, Paul Cunningham, and the entire podcast team).

It’s easy to get stuck on the numbers, but we're not playing strictly a numbers game. The main lesson I’ve learned in this process is that when we are leveraging media and social media for the purposes of GOD instead of our own, the numbers are not just numbers: they are PEOPLE.

It’s one more person that I get to meet in the lobby of the church telling me that they were lost and then they saw a reel about the second coming of Jesus and it convicted them so deeply that they came to church. That one simple step sets a miracle in motion.

I’m not saying all of us HAVE to use social media or start a podcast to be a faithful (small d) disciple - but like it or not, social media is the new public square. And like all things, it is under the authority of the living God. And if we’re going to use it, why would we not use it to glorify Him?

The media landscape has changed dramatically. In many senses, YOU are the media now. The days of CNN or CBS or whatever being the arbiter of truth and lies are over. So what can Christians do with that reality in mind?

In humility, this is what I'm suggesting:

If you have a business, share the Gospel with your platform. If you have a podcast, share the Gospel with your platform. If you have a million followers on social media, share the Gospel with your platform. If you have 235 followers on X, share the Gospel with your platform.

For all the dangers social media poses, I want you to image what the God of the universe might do if millions of faithful Christians proclaimed his name boldly using a tool that is uniquely designed to accomplish the exact mission given to us: Go and make disciples of all nations.

To all of my followers.

One day you’re going to wake up and there will be dozens if not hundreds of communities surrounded by Islamic military aged men who are armed. They will simultaneously carry out October 7th style attacks in American communities, and there won’t be enough law enforcement to respond.

Thousands of Americans will die. It will be a hostage situation. And when it happens, it will already be too late to stop what comes next.

I want all of my followers to buy ammo and weapons to protect themselves from the jihad that is going to be unleashed on the US. If you can afford to, build a safe room in your home.

When Islamic communists take over the House and Senate and they abolish the police and abolish ICE and DHS, we won’t have anyone to help us. These policies are largely being pushed by Islamic communist candidates in preparation for the war they plan to declare on non-Muslim Amercians.

If you don’t prepare for this, you and your children will probably be slaughtered by these jihadists.

I think about this every single day and I just want that to be known because my entire career, people have called me crazy for saying things like this, but I want this to be on the record so that when it does happen, people realize I was trying to warn the public to save Americans from what our bleak future holds.

We are going to be attacked by Islamic militants and nobody will come to save us. It’s up to Americans to prepare.

These people are going to come after you and your children and anyone who says otherwise is setting you up to be conquered.

History shows us what happens when jihadis gain political power.

I just hope Americans prepare. I know what the future holds and it won’t be pretty for our country.

Please prepare. Don’t become a statistic.

Last night in McKinney, Texas, the city council voted 7-0 to allow a new mosque and Islamic center to be constructed. I just have to ask, how many city councils in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Pakistan, Sudan, Turkey, Syria, Gaza, or any Muslim dominated country are granting permits for the construction of new Christian churches?

As a matter of fact, in Sudan they have murdered over two million Black Christians there and we know of the atrocities in Nigeria.

Christian churches and communities are being targeted and destroyed in most of these countries. Funny, ya don’t hear Abdul al-Sayed and Hasan Piker talking about that genocide.

Here, especially in Texas, we are experiencing an epidemic increase of Islamic mosques and centers. I have a simple question, why are we allowing the constitutional right of freedom of religion to be extended to an ideology that rejects freedom of religion?

Unfortunately we have cowards masquerading as elected officials, McKinney city council the most recent example, who will not pose that question, and respond as they should…say "No!"

It’s time we understand that when tolerance becomes a one way street it leads to cultural suicide. Time to say “No” to this intolerant ideology…time to vote for individuals who will say "No!"

I’ve heard the saying that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I don’t see Him choosing the “toughest soldiers”, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I don’t see God choosing His “toughest soldiers.” But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.

I once thought I was a “tough soldier” until I met Jesus, I then realized that I’m so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I can’t do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.

If you were going to destroy a largely Christian nation in ~200 years, here's part of how you might do it in 6 steps...

Spiritual warfare doesn't just happen at the individual level; it happens at the societal level.

1) Creation of a welfare state in ~1935 to financially incentivize millions of people to come to that country, because if you can get here, the United States is now on the hook to pay for you. Before ~1935 there was ~nothing to receive from the government.

***Side note: one of the often-forgotten parts of the immigration conversation is that people will point at the Statue of Liberty and say, "What about 'Give us your tired, poor, huddled masses yearning to be free!?"

But they forget that statement [written in 1880's] was before the creation of a welfare state. So what was originally simply a welcome to come is now a command to the citizens of the United States to pay for the people who come and a financial incentive to come en masse.

2) Open the borders so that ~80M people, many from predominantly non-Christian countries, follow that financial incentive and come, thus diluting Christian influence over time + providing ever-growing voting blocs of people with diametrically opposed interests, beliefs, and values.

3) Reinterpret (primarily in late 1940's) "religious liberty" concept / First Amendment to mean that the US Government will now treat all world religions the same – false religions inspired by unholy spirits the same as the true one inspired by the Holy Spirit.

This allows people from other religions to...

A) Run for public office unfettered
B) Try to legislate from those opposing value viewpoints
C) Do so with inbuilt voting blocs created by #1 and #2

4) Convince Christians en masse it's actually unChristian to oppose 1, 2, and 3 by misapplying....

- "Feed the poor"
- "Welcome the sojourner"
- The historically Christian concept of religious liberty

... and discipling Christians en masse into political ambiguity ("the gospel is neither Right nor Left" = sum total of political applications of the gospel) or political passivity (any political engagement or will by Christians = interpreted as "political idolatry", yucky "culture warring", etc.

6) Secular progressive "long march through the institutions" beginning in the ~1960's, resulting in universities / public institutions reverse-discipling upcoming generations away from Christianity.

6) Let all that cook for a ~100 years, and boom... that might be how you could destroy a largely and uniquely Christian nation if you were waging societal-level spiritual warfare.

I know they want to make this trend about Trump, but as somone who has worked in digital media for 15+ years, I believe it goes much deeper than that.

Nearly every political influencer you talk to is seeing a noticable decline. My theory: the country is entirely BURNT OUT on politics, division, fear etc (me included).

At the same time, guess what is EXPLODING online? The Gospel. People are actively seeking out truth and hope — and the ultimate source of both are Jesus Christ and the Bible.

So while political content struggles to find its ground, @thelivefreepod is arguably the FASTEST growing Christian podcast (in the world?).

The podcast has seen growth so explosive over the past year, YouTube can't even give me the growth percentage in the analytics... it just says >999%.

Why am I telling you this? To brag on my favorite podcast? Absolutely not. It's to point my media friends in the right direction. For as long as I've been doing this, hyperpolitical, fear-based content has driven results and dominated feeds.

Until now. The old playbook simply isn't working. And I honestly think that's a good thing.

My thesis is that we are experiencing a violent pendulum swing the other way — the human spirit is screaming for truth, hope, joy, and love. They are sharing and consuming more content that brings peace, not anxiety. It makes sense why people's hearts are being drawn to the Prince of Peace.

I am no futurist, but I would not be surprised if digital media plays a HUGE role in the next revival we see in this country and around the world. I've had debates over whether the disciples would have used social media to share the Gospel... I don't even hesitate to answer yes. Whatever. It. Takes.

And God has written a decoder of truth into our hearts so that when we hear the truth, we know it. Jesus Christ is the truth, the way, and the life.

The point I am absolutely NOT making is that you should talk about Jesus for views, though unfortunately it seems some are already doing just that and seeing the trend.

But I am saying if you are a Christian and you have a platform, you should talk about Jesus because He is Lord and He deserves the glory of the platform He's given you.

It just so happens that there seems to be more people who want to hear the truth than I've ever seen in my lifetime.

You can also talk about heroes, tell stories of glory, cover the stories that highlight the truth behind everything... just stop telling us the world is ending if politician X or Y doesn't get elected. People need HOPE.

I just feel like so many of us are DONE putting our faith in politicians and talking heads who will let you down 100% of the time. We're all-in on Jesus.

Worry less about your glory and more about His... your life usually goes much better when you do that.

The gospel isn’t “find yourself.” It’s “deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Christ.” (Matthew 16:24)

You can’t look inside yourself and find the answer. You need Christ. We all do. But it’s not some punishment.

Self-sacrifice is how every good relationship works. You do things because you love someone more than you love your own comfort in that moment. And vice versa.

Christianity is not asking you to erase yourself. It is asking you to stop worshiping yourself. There is a big difference.

Real freedom is not doing whatever you want whenever you want. Real freedom is no longer being controlled by every impulse, every emotion, every appetite, and every selfish desire.

But it has to start with the realization that it’s not about you. You will not save yourself.
