My understanding is Home Secretary @ShabanaMahmood expected to issue a statement at 10pm.

This follows @jessphillips branding grooming gang survivors liars after they quit the @ukhomeoffice Survivors Panel, only for @fionagoddarduk to release documents proving it was the Minister for Safeguarding Girls who lied.

This isn’t a misunderstanding. It’s a resignation-level scandal. But Labour can’t risk the truth. They need the rigged inquiry more than anyone. 

A genuine inquiry could mean prison time for those who enabled the industrial-scale rape of this nation’s children. And that includes @UKLabour politicians.
