Are you wasting words when you pray or does prayer actually matter? This short biblical teaching looks at Acts 4, God’s sovereignty, and why prayer is one of the means God uses.

I know this is usually WOO, but I wanted to share something personal.
I launched the first episode of The Power of Prayer Christian Podcast.
Does prayer actually work? Is God listening?
I’d be grateful if you watched, commented, or shared it.

@DavidFischer We don't accept Christ. God elects through His foreknowledge and the Spirit gives us obedience to Christ and sprinkling of blood. 1 Peter 1
Jesus didn't ask Saul "Accept me into your heart so I can save you." No, God intruded into Saul's life and made him alive through Christ.
@TheresaArueyin1 God's grace and mercy is enough. Also, we don't even know all the sins we commit and repentance is something God grants us it is not something we in and of ourselves do.
Hey @ReformedRap I took a stab using @suno and @AgentOpusAI to make this song and video. Hardcore metal version Isaiah 6, Ephesians 2, James 2, Matthew 28 with a sprinkle of Philippians in there.

@1WhaleTale@JustinPetersMin U still haven’t answered the og question. Where does Scripture say man’s choice outweighs God’s sovereign will in salvation? I’m not arguing the labels you keep attaching to me. Rom 3 says none seek God. Eph 2 says dead in sin. John 6 says no one can come unless drawn/granted.
@1WhaleTale@JustinPetersMin You keep attaching Calvinist categories to me instead answering the argument. I never claimed 1 Pet 1 says “unilateral irresistible regeneration.” I said Scripture puts God’s action before man’s coming. John 6 says no one can come unless drawn/granted. Show where that’s reversed.
@1WhaleTale@JustinPetersMin You strawmanned my view, begged the question, asserted “error” without proving it, and imported “foreseen free faith” into the text while accusing me of presuppositions. The core question was simple: show Scripture where mans choice overrides God’s sovereign election. You didn’t.
@1WhaleTale@JustinPetersMin Let’s be plain: you strawman me, beg the question by defining elect as foreseen believers, import that into John 6, then accuse me of presuppositions. But John 6 says no one can come unless drawn/granted, and Acts 13:48 says the appointed believed.
@1WhaleTale@JustinPetersMin Where did I say God does not foreknow the elect? I never argued that. You keep answering a position I have not taken. The question is not whether God foreknows. The question is whether Scripture places man’s free faith before God’s drawing/granting, and John 6 does not.
@1WhaleTale@JustinPetersMin “Drawing follows free faith” is not in John 6. That’s imported. John 6:35 equates coming with believing, then v44 says no one can come unless drawn, and v65 says coming must be granted. The text explains why someone believes; it doesn’t place faith before drawing.
