We are a group of Wrexham supporters who want democratic change within the WST and the football club.

I understand that a special general meeting of the Wrexham Supporters Trust will be announced tomorrow in order to vote on the proposed takeover of the club.

I’ve just had a call from WST Chairman, Pete Jones, who was ranting and raving at me and accused me of being behind all of the trouble at the football club at present. He accused me of having multiple accounts on Red Passion and that I was stirring up hatred against the board.

When I questioned him about why the WST board were not told about the loans to the club totalling 180k in early 2016, he said that he hadn’t been told about them either. He has lost all control of the football club board and should resign immediately.

Still no response from the club or any of the directors as to why loans totalling £180,000 were hidden from the directors of the parent company and the governing body of the football club in early 2016. Over to you @Tada1973

FWIW, @WSTtweets chairman confirmed more loans in an email response to my enquiry last night. More clarification required on detail but directors definitely had to loan money on 2 occasions prior to fan loan in 2016. I understand there may be more. Why weren’t members told?

In addition to this 100k loan from an unnamed fan, we understand that at least two other loans totalling 180k were received by the club from two separate individuals.

Owen Phillips: The club has been run as for as it can under this regime. Yes financially they made the club sound but made footballing decisions which had cost the club dear. Time to change.
