2. The kingdom of Israel, which you are describing was an entirely different mode of government than the US republic.

@BethMooreLPM Yes. I’m doing work on pilgrimage and the 23 Psalm, and have found this to be true scripturally. Moses only sees the backside of God after He has past. He must look behind. The valley of death is all you see until you get to the feast!
