It’s not about a random “vet QB,” it’s about the guy you won 14 games with and the league providing a mechanism to keep him on a one year deal!

@startkyIeorton The mistake you make is that there’s two levels in the “got it” category. Sam Darnold “got it” (he won a SB!), but Josh Allen “REALLY got it”

We don’t know which level Caleb is yet, and it’s the difference between “Can he win a SB with Ryan Poles or not?”

They “want him to throw twice,” but if rain makes it unfeasible, you think they’d rather shut him down than change their minds, decide once was okay, and look for a low leverage spot for his first appearance in Chicago?
