@RobDorsettSky Rob it’s not put anything to bed. It’s caused utter carnage as per your replies. Issue with VAR is that you expect decisions to be correct but comes down to personal perspective. At least before VAR refs would get slack because it was in real time-they can’t be given the same now

We’re a sports entertainment business with a football arm, an NFL arm, a concert arm etc.

This is the dangerous reality of decades of defence cuts to our three armed services - and a failure by @DefenceHQ to spend a still substantial defence budget well - playing out in real time while a war is raging.

So many of us have warned of the risk of a hollow force.

It was General Sir Nicholas Houghton, as chief of the defence staff, who first uttered that phrase in public - back in 2013!!!

And yet still no sense today of when (or if) the government will sign off on a new investment plan for the Ministry of Defence.

If billions of additional pounds are not found then ambitions will be curbed and there will have to be more cuts.
