@ludiwrites Great idea! I’ve got to look into that option. Basically I want an agent that charges by the hour - instead of using their own rubric on me to decide whether they want to rep my work. Agnostic representation by the hour is a vacuum in the market.

@Jairus_Girl The few agents I wrote to didn’t want to take on untested talent. My day job / career isn’t writing - and I have no published history. So it’s really me on my own. That feels extra scary.

@Jairus_Girl My toughest critics have pushed me. Plus, a published English professor checks in regularly to see if I’ve published yet. A friend who produces and writes one of the longest lasting TV series said it’s ready to ship. But I was really burnt in the music industry and have nerves.

@humanelizavet Agree - unfortunately my happy place to write is on a plane ✈️ - and COVID has upended that option for me. I also find that I need to write my first draft cover-to-cover in one sitting. So long flights is what I’m saying - really long flights :)
