🚱 East Anglia remains in drought, with 63% of England’s rivers below normal levels...
Winter is normally a time for water resource recharge; river flows increase and reservoirs, groundwater and on-farm winter storage areas refill.

1 week on and the scrapes and pools are filling up nicely 😍
A native hedge mix has been planted to add greater diversity.... This #Wensum site is going to be a fantastic wildlife haven! #NaturalFloodManagement 🐸🐟🐦🦋
The weather swings are incredible!
There’s hardly been a drop of rain since the widespread and quite significant flooding of mid January.
Most river flows are now well below normal for the time of year.
The outlook is very dry.

Pure joy... the moment the flow from a canalised river joins a new meandering channel. Returning this Wensum tributary to its historic course and reconnecting the floodplain 🤩🤩💙
