Through the Illinois Science Teaching Association, Mrs. Phillips was able to award a student with an Excellence in Science Award. Mrs. Phillips chose Ava Houston and said, "Over the school year, Ava has developed a deep understanding of scientific concepts." Congrats to Ava!
