The fire burned slowly through the night, allowing the meat to cook low and slow for hours. By morning, the ribs were so tender they were practically falling apart.

The San Andreas fault alone is bad enough.

But researchers just found something worse.

Two major fault systems in California have synced up. The San Andreas and the San Jacinto faults intersect at the Cajon Pass northeast of Los Angeles. Geologists call it an "earthquake gate."

For a thousand years, stress has been building there. Now, the pressure levels on both faults have converged. When that happens historically, a rupture doesn't stop at one fault. It jumps the gate. It becomes a massive, multi-fault event.

Nobody is naming a date. But they just confirmed the energy is heavily primed.

It is what sits on top of Cajon Pass. It is a massive geographical chokepoint.

New California Law is about to take effect that will require data brokers to delete all data they have on all residents

California’s DELETE Act was passed awhile back, but in a few weeks companies must start deleting all data they collected in residents

“The Electronic Frontier Foundation has been concerned about data brokers' business practice for decades. They make their money by collecting information from lots of different sources, sort of analyzing it, repackaging it, selling it to other people”

“After the first round of deletions, data brokers will be required to delete any new data collected every 45 days after that”

The fines for not complying are extremely strict:

$200 per consumer per deletion request per day for failing to delete personal information as required

Example:

- For one consumer’s request ignored for 30 days: $6,000
- For 1,000 consumers ignored for 30 days: $6 million
