A look back on 2025 and what we have achieved…

It’s been a busy year for us with competitions, car washes, visits, camp and our usual drills but none of it is possible without your support,

Nice bit of open water pumping as we get closer to Christmas for our cadets!!
The cadets learned about our LPP (Lightweight Portable Pump) and how we get it to work from open water like damns and deliver water out of a branch at pressure!!

Nice teamwork and effort shown by all!

Massive thank you to those who came down and supported our car wash last weekend at fallings park fire station.
We managed to raise a total of £1061 which will help both our group with funding and the firefighters charity - thank you!!

This is to help raise funds for our group and the firefighters charity.

Little throwback to this year’s summer camp where our cadets enjoyed a week away, kayaking, abseiling, 3G swing, a swimming pool and of course a day out to Drayton manor,

A lot of laughs and a very enjoyable week away for us all!!

On Saturday,
Our cadets visited fire control and got an insight into the work they do and how they do it all,

They also went to Bickenhill fire station where they spoke to the technical rescue crews, looked at some equipment and had a go at confined space.

A huge congratulations to our cadets who not only came first in the haul aloft and knots and line challenge, but were the overall cadet day competition winners!!

Over the last few weeks our cadets have been practicing their ladder drills, hauling aloft, dam building and knots as well as other skills to prepare the group for our upcoming cadet competition!! Loads of new skills being learnt and great teamwork being shown 👌👏

Over the last couple weeks we’ve welcomed our cadets back and started our drills by going back to basics!!

It was our last cadet evening of the year last night, and there’s no better way then to jump around on inflatables and finish with some pizza and a party 🥳
Thank you to everyone for the hard work you’ve shown in 2024 and have a very merry Christmas from all the instructor team!

On Wednesday, our cadets spent the evening learning how to lay and follow a guideline utilising the correct knots,
As well as practicing search and rescue and how to move around in darkness and locate items doing the BA Shuffle!!
