@HoffmanTactical Mine get used for prototypes for customers. Material durability and shrinkage over time is not an issue. It needs to survive long enough for a fit check and a quick QA before it is sent off for tooling.

@joeltelling It is not just small businesses. If the bill proposed in Washington had passed, it would have applied to all 3D printers and CNC machines. Commercial manufactures would stop selling equipment in the state. Boeing, Paccar, etc will be forced to move manufacturing out of the state.

@alder_riley HB 2321 was the one that would require the printer to make checks. This one just makes having the gcode illegal. You do not need to own a printer, it does not need to be in a format that can be used by a printer, you just need to poses it.
