Our final Mentor–Mentee Spotlight of the 2025-26 WTS Student Chapter Mentorship Program features E’Llecse Logan, a Master of City Planning student at the University of Pennsylvania.
E’Llecse is exploring how transportation planning intersects with housing and environmental issues, and is working closely with her mentor, Zohra Aslam, to reflect on career goals and early professional pathways.
This spotlight is part of the WTS Student Chapter Mentorship Program, connecting students with transportation professionals for a year of guidance, learning, and career development. We’re grateful for mentors like Zohra who help the next generation of leaders in the field.

On Tuesday, Feb. 18th, our WTS Student Chapter hosted a networking mixer to launch the 2025 WTS Student Chapter Mentor Program. This program pairs students with experienced professionals from diverse transportation fields to foster mentorship and career guidance.
The event offered an exciting opportunity for initial connections. Mentors and mentees will be supported with five detailed mentoring packets throughout 2025, covering foundational expectations and strategies for dealing with professional setbacks.
