In other words 1) a player should get more credit for getting 10K more votes than the next player rather than 1 more vote

2) Currently it seems like voters ranked different players but actually they just chose the top people they think should be an All Star (or their faves)

Instead of using rank, they should use the % of ballots with that player listed to 1) preserve the magnitude of vote difference, and 2) get rid of the false impression that it’s ranked choice voting when it's approval voting
