It's great to hear that Kenyan nationals will be able to enter South Africa without a visa starting in January 2023.
I hope South Africa will consider applying the same rules to other African countries, including Ethiopia. I strive for visa-free travel throughout Africa.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the devastating wildfires in Spain and France.

WTTC extends its deepest solidarity to the families, communities and businesses impacted, and to the firefighters, emergency services, military personnel and volunteers working tirelessly to protect lives and livelihoods.

The devastating wildfires in Spain, together with those affecting France and the recent wildfire season in Canada, remind us that strengthening crisis preparedness and destination resilience has never been more important. As climate-related events become more frequent and severe, closer collaboration between governments and the private sector will be essential to protect communities, visitors and the future of Travel & Tourism.

Our thoughts remain with everyone affected.
