Robert Hooke is the deserving winner of the 'John Fountain Award' for best figurative work in our spring exhibition. The photos were taken at our busy private view and it's definitely a piece best seen in person. Exhibition open Mon to Sat inclusive until 11 May @stamfordarts

This year we have a new award - 'The Howden Award for Best Naturalism Artwork' and it was won by Barry Frostick with this detailed elephant portrait. Take a close up look at Barry's painting and all of the other work on show in our spring exhibition currently on @stamfordarts

Our spring exhibition is now open! We had a busy private view last night and many thanks to Mayor Andrew Croft for presenting the awards.
