We are local residents who have come together to improve our village with flowers. Gold Finalists in RHS Britain in Bloom 2021 and 2018 Large Village category.
We've spent a couple of evenings this week working at Mike's Circle, making the most of the nice weather. It's looking good, weeding and maintenance complete!🌞

A beautifully warm and sunny morning, ideal weather to fix trellis to the railings to encourage our climbing plants, with more climbers to be planted during the spring. Many thanks to Molloys Garden Centre 🙏https://t.co/IcSCwfX1Em

It was a windy morning but that didn't stop the intrepid Bloomers clearing the border of leaves, cutting back plants and tidying the Village Cottage Garden. It was our first venture out in 2024 and thank you for the compliments from those passing by🖐️
The maintenance continues, the broken edging has been replaced at the Cottage Garden. Huge thanks again to John 👏
We have our first tidy up this year tomorrow. If you would like to join the team tomorrow or in the future, please DM us, we'd love to hear from you 😀 #bloomers
Spring is (nearly) here! and we've started tidying/cleaning has. The signs have been repainted at the Mediterranean Area and Mike’s Circle. Many thanks to John for all his help. #bloomers#lovewhereyoulive#wallaseyvillageinbloom
Horticulture, food and art cleverly combined in this no doubt flavoursome but definitely beautiful dish! Isn’t it amazing?! I hope that’s a cheese sauce background #yummy
We’re not out doing very much at the moment due to the weather conditions but hopefully we’ll be out and about soon🌻If you would like to get involved please message us, no garden experience needed, we’re a friendly community group and love getting new volunteers involved! 🌿🌸🌿
How gorgeous are these Centaurea? (silver green plant in the middle!) They look beautiful in business planters and will last all year long. In summer they'll have a thistle like purple flower. That’s sustainable planting which is what we're all about! #sustainable 🌿🌸🌿
THank you for all your support yesterday. We switched on the Christmas lights in the Winter Wonderland. Pop along and enjoy the magic for yourselves. Don't forget to take some photos and tag us in. We'd love to see your pictures! 🎄☃️🎅

#3 Back in 2013, we never thought 10 years later we would have 3 Royal Horticultural 'Britain in Bloom North West' awards! Silver Gilt Medal Award 2017 and Gold Award 2018 & 2021. Over the coming weeks we will share our memories with you from those early days #wewereyoungerthen
#2 After researching we started to plant out spring 2014 with our own money and very kind donations of pansies from family and the community. The first project underway….. the Nature Border outside St Nicholas Church and the circle now known as Mike’s Circle.....
#1 Ten years ago today, 18 September 2013, 'Wallasey Village in Bloom' was officially formed, and constitution signed. We were a group of three but had lots of support from family & friends. We did our research about planting and were all very excited!
Huge thanks to @WirralCouncil who not only listened to our request to have the tree near the village cottage garden cut back, but agreed to carry out the work this autumn! #lovewhereyoulive
