I know your mentor might not have told you this, but I will.
The first few minutes of a new trading week shouldn’t be spent looking for entries.
They should be spent understanding the story the market is telling.
Before I risk a single dollar, I ask myself:
• What did the Weekly just tell me?
• What has the Daily confirmed?
• Is H4 in agreement?
• Is H1 simply providing the execution?
Only after those questions are answered do I start looking for an entry.
Most traders do the exact opposite.
They open the charts and immediately start hunting for setups.
That’s why they end up forcing trades.
The entry is the easiest part of the trade.
Building the narrative is where the real edge is.
If you can learn to read the story before looking for the setup, you’ll stop chasing the market and start executing with confidence.
Trade the narrative, not just the candle. 🤝🦅
Happy New Week!
Go And Prosper! 🎉
The day you start building systems and becoming disciplined to the system that is the day you have set yourself for generational wealth
How can you be surrounded by water and yet you are thirsty… this is literally the reality of traders that doesn’t have a system and no discipline over a system
Trading is hard, no lie.
It’s hard to control your emotions.
It’s hard to hold onto winning trades.
It’s hard to cut your losses.
It’s hard to stay patient and wait for the right setup.
That’s why I always say…risk only a small percentage of your account.
When your risk is small, you make better decisions, stay emotionally stable, and trade with confidence instead of fear.
Risk management isn’t optional..it’s the foundation of consistent profitability.
No, forex wasn't where I first started making money.
After going into debt of ₦27 million, I knew I couldn't continue the same way. I had to build systems and structure around my finances.
So, I diversified.
I became a distributor of nylon and other packaging materials. A few months later, I opened five POS locations and put trusted people in charge of managing them.
Over time, those businesses stabilized my finances.
When I was finally in a better place financially, I returned to forex but this time with a completely different mindset.
I was no longer trading because I desperately needed money.
The pressure was gone.
And that was when things finally started to click.
That was in 2021.
If you haven't fixed your finances, bro, trading will be very hard.
The pressure to make money quickly can destroy even the best strategy.
Build cash flow outside the market.
Trade from a position of strength, not desperation.
