Trying to get my head round the @metpoliceuk saying they don’t pursue crimes ‘retrospectively’ as Step 1 in ‘no further action to be taken’ re criminal parties in No 10. How many criminal acts are not in the past? What a ludicrous country we are becoming with Johnson in No 10.

Clearly the LibDems think they can win in North Shropshire, we definitely can't. Arguments about who is the real main challenger are irrelevant. Let them go for it, we focus our efforts in Old Bexley and get on the ground in Leicester East and Wakefield.

Late to commenting on this but the dismissive, scornful, almost amused tone Johnson uses to talk about people literally begging for their lives isn't just distasteful: it's depraved and sociopathic in a way I don't think we've seen from any leading politician in the UK before.
