We managed to donate over 100 books to the school.

A nation that makes its children and youth a priority, is a nation that is ready to conquer the world.

On the 27th of May 2022, in collaboration with the Avocado Research Programme, we visited P. S Tsosane Primary School at Ivory Park, on a book reading drive. The event was a success, courtesy of all the organisers involved and the school leadership.

On the 27th of May 2022, in collaboration with the Avocado Research Programme, we will be visiting P. S Tsosane Primary School at Ivory Park, on a book reading drive.

We are committed to building a reading nation that prioritises knowledge acquisition at all costs.

Do you have old clothes or accessories which you no longer need? Get in touch with our University of Pretoria Executive Committee in order to donate the items to help us raise funds for our upcoming community projects.

We later assisted the learners to apply into the university of their choice. This was done by a team of volunteers, who concurrently became mentors to the learners.

The program is currently running, through our career development office.

In the year 2021 we managed to assist learners across the country with applications into institutions of higher learning. The project started from the time when we had an online career expo, during which learners were guided by our faculty advisors about career choices.

These career advisors had information, knowledge and resources from the various universities across the country.

Through this process, the learners were able to make informed decisions about their careers. This was informed by, inter alia, which careers are currently in demand.

We have noticed improvements in both social and academic lives of the students from the time they started with the program up to when the academic year ended.

We are grateful to the mentors that availed themselves to serve their brothers and sisters.

First year students find it hard to adjust into the fast paced university life, and because we understand this, we committed to helping students from unprivilleged backgrounds with adjustment into university. We did this by introducing a mentorship program for them.

We responded to the call by students that were left hopeless and didn't know what to do when they were told they cannot continue with their studies.

We are grateful to our volunteers who were part of the appeals team. This was not going to be possible without their help.
