German exchange students are returning home. 😊 Saying goodbye has been quite emotional. We had such a great time 🥰. Now on the plane about to depart. @WyHighAcademy

On our way home. Had a lovely time at the chocolate and olympic games museum. Tried chocolate at it's various stages and played some sports. @WyHighAcademy

Arrived safely in Köln. Climbed the Dom, the cathedral. 533 steps. Next stop is the Lindt chocolate museum. 😊 @WyHighAcademy

Today we are in Münster. We started in the Marktcafé. With a second breakfast or a cake. Lots of excellent German being spoken. Now exploring Münster and the market. @WyHighAcademy

Going to Essen today. Zeche Zollverein, a mining museum. Half way. Waiting for the Straßenbahn. @wyhighacademy

After a lovely couple of days with the German families, our students joined their exchange partners at school today. After four lessons, we explored Recklinghausen and met up for lunch in a Turkish restaurant. @WyHighAcademy

German exchange 💕 We are off to Germany 🎉 Flying to Dortmund. Arrived safely at the airport and have now boarded the plane. All excited 😊 @WyHighAcademy

On the way back from Stansted after a great few days! This morning we went to see where the Spanish equivalent of the tooth fairy lives, and we bought some traditional sweet treats from the nuns at the monastery before heading to the airport. ¡Adiós Madrid!

This afternoon we went to see La Guernica at the Reina Sofia museum, had a walk around La Gran Vía and played some games (almost entirely in Spanish). Another 19,000 steps today!

This morning we went to El Rastro market for a spot of shopping and we are going to have lunch in a traditional Spanish restaurant before hitting the museums @WyHighAcademy

Today we went to El Escorrial. A bit less walking, but more hills! We also had paella for dinner - ¡qué rica! @WyHighAcademy

21,500 steps around Madrid today! Highlights include el Parque Retiro, el Palacio Real and visiting kilometre 0. It's been 18 degrees and sunny! @WyHighAcademy

Arrived safely in Madrid with 8 of our sixth form students for some cultural immersion! We found this and thought it might help us to improve our Spanish but no sign of @gianfrancocont9 as yet! @WyHighAcademy
