@joeylynchy Yep, AFC games require 5000 all-seater capacity for their games, so it would probably go to a cavernous and expensive MRS. Qualifying for ACLE would likely have a significant financial impact on the club.

On the 15k capacity stadium, Sourasis said: "It’s outward facing and isn’t just an enclosed, four sided stadium that waits for a game every couple of weeks. It’s activated every day so the community can use it for any sort of events, not just what is going on inside the stadium."

I don't want to take anything away from Preston, the crowds are great, they're a great club, but they don't get the 5k+ attendances without the away fans there at the big matches, and WU don't play big matches at IF.

@pattymalone2000 The entire argument is a false equivalence. WU haven’t even been permitted to host Victorian opposition at Tarneit. Preston can host a Macedonian derby at an 800 seat ground without the police putting an end to it.
