So, I've been thinking about this for a while, but my 2025 New Year's Resolution is... to quit Twitter. I got a new phone recently and made a point of NOT downloading Twitter and it has helped cut down on so much mindless scrolling it's insane, feels all the better for it (1/5)
Within a few minutes of me posting this, I received likes on 2 random parts of it from a bot account which has no followers and is following no one themselves, which really just sums up everything about Twitter, doesn't it

So, yeah, it's been fun. I think that anyone I've really talked to on Twitter I have on Discord, and I've switched to Pixiv for the artists I follow, so the plan is to keep the good while losing the bad. If you wanna follow me, the Cardd in my profile is the place to go! (5/5)
@Bulbagarden I was wondering, would you consider ever releasing a publicly editable version of your team display? I've seen a few dedicated visual team builders online but none look as clean or communicate as much info as the interface on your site
34. Sonic x Shadow Generations
My opinions on the Shadow package are mostly positive, the main stuff (level design, story) was solid but some Doom Powers were clunky and the music was surprisingly weak for a Sonic game. But loved re-experiencing Sonic Generations again for sure
33. Kizumonogatari Movies
Probably shouldn't have lumped all these together, but ah well. I enjoyed these more than Bake since it felt like a more cohesive plot, and I think Hanekawa has shot up to my fave for now. Also this series' animation goes HAM on a movie budget, goddamn.
I did consider putting Unicorn Overlord for best OST and having Granblue for best Multiplayer but honestly none of the games I played were that stand-out for either category anyways so thought I might as well spread them out for some variety
Here's my unhinged picks for Backloggd's 2024 GOTY
As usual, haven't played a massive amount of recent games since I tend to just catch up on older stuff unless it's something I'm really interested in, only eligible one not pictured is PokeRogue
On one hand, the Shadow Generations stuff looks super cool and I'm glad that Sonic games seem to be getting more consistent recently but also I am not liking this recent trend of attaching a super short game to a subpar remaster to justify selling it for full price
@TK_Zephyr Don't worry, we've all been Automatic users at one point, lol, I was the same when I first played Mario Kart Wii... Beyond that, though, I really wanna give Punch-Out and Okami a go myself at some point, both of those games look super fun
Is the Kikuri spin-off for Bocchi the Rock still being translated? Was following it on MangaDex but haven't seen it updated for a while, I miss this goober
Updated GDrive with my Smash concept passion project for the first time in a while now I've got a bit more time to work on it. The full 1334-strong Spirit list is now done (battles/descriptions WIP), Pikachu and Luigi are finished, and lots of other little changes here and there!
I've compiled some of my own ideas for Smash - fighter changes, new mechanics, and the like. This is something I've been coming back to on and off just for the fun of it, and it's still very much a WIP, but feel free to have a browse if you're interested! https://t.co/rnWETc9x0Y
I've been adding to my SSB concepts offline for a while, and I've finally updated the online version today! Every veteran fighter now has a WIP PowerPoint with finished costumes and unique victory themes, plus lots of other little ideas all around. (Link at start of thread)
Idk if anyone else experiences this but I feel like I have a bad habit of making games unfun for myself? I start off with thinking "I should do these quests" or "I should go back and get all the collectables" and then before I know it, it goes from being fun to being a chore
Most recent issue of this for me is with Unicorn Overlord, I was having a blast with it, then I realised I was missing out on some stuff by not developing all the towns so I started systematically going through all of them to catch up and now I haven't played in like a month lol
