Day 1 of using @X
I'm Aryaman, a filmmaker based in Mumbai, India.
Besides being good at making travel shows & chai, I love exploring new tech, philosophy, music & the mind.
Expect insights on filmmaking, tech reviews, AI advancement, personal growth & reflections here.
4/ Use your Original Intelligence. 🧠
AI has made our lives incredibly easy, but let's not get stuck in a lazy loop of artificial scripting just because it's convenient. If we want to make travel shows great again, we need to rely a lot more on our own instincts.
There's a reason creators are beating traditional travel shows right now. 🧵👇
Big productions blow their budgets on celebrity hosts, massive crews, and heavy gear. By the time they need to invest in the actual story, the wallet is empty.
Here is how we fix it:
3/ Kill the "permission paralysis." 🚫
Terrified of getting a "no"? What’s the worst that happens? You get yelled at? Pack your camera, keep a tiny contingency budget for hiccups, and figure it out on the ground. You'll survive a scolding. Your show won't survive being boring.
@nothingindia@getpeid I appreciate your smooth after-sales service, but the product quality is disappointing. Every few months, a bud stops working or the volume drops. Now they're out of warranty, and it feels unfair that a product I love repeatedly fails out of nowhere. Please fix this QC!
Hey @nothingindia@getpeid. I’m a dedicated user of the ecosystem (Phone, CMF watch, earbuds), but we need to talk about the Ear (a).
Over their lifespan, they’ve broken down 3 times, and I’ve had to get them replaced at the service center every single time. 🧵👇
If one feels any positive outcome by walking 10k steps a day, be it physical, mental or emotional, then it is wellness. And only that person gets the right to decide what is wellness to them.
Consider this a warning to anyone looking to sell: don't let them bully you with "blow tests" or invisible discoloration.
@Cashify_ , you need to fix your training and stop using these scammy tactics to devalue devices.
Hey @Cashify_, since when did blowing air into a SIM slot become a legitimate diagnostic tool?
Just had an incredibly unprofessional experience with your pickup service. What used to be a smooth process has devolved into using gimmicky tests to lowball customers.
Taking advantage of users who don't know about seal degradation or display calibration is a terrible way to build a brand.
Relying on "norms" to justify poor diagnostics is exactly how you lose long-term customers.
