The metric establishes the average acquisition cost of coins traded exclusively on secondary markets, isolating and excluding the capital held by miners.

The calculation reflects the real cost basis of the economically active investors participating in daily price formation.

It functions as a macroeconomic trend divider:

— Market price below the line → structural downtrend.
— Market price above the line → structural uptrend.

The DCA strategy proves substantially more profitable when executed during the downtrend periods demarcated by this metric.

3/ Realized Price.

The indicator acts as the network's fundamental pricing anchor.

The model sizes the average acquisition cost of the entire circulating supply, weighted by the exact instant of each coin's last transaction on the blockchain.

When the market price touches this support line, it historically marks the best absolute points for institutional accumulation.

In the current bear market, price action has not yet tested this level to fire the opportunity signal, meaning the maximum-strength DCA setup is still pending.

Even if Bitcoin still drops another 20%, it has just entered one of the most important phases of the cycle: ACCUMULATION.

Accumulation means gaining exposure in a region where the pure alpha of onchain metrics shows that, historically, moments like this have offered some of the best asymmetrical opportunities in Bitcoin.

The Accumulation Distribution Cycle Index, ADCI, has just fallen to 21.74, officially entering the accumulation zone.

This index works as a macro compass for Bitcoin’s cycle, following a Wyckoff-inspired framework and analyzing the market on a scale from 0 to 100:

0 to 30: Accumulation
A region historically associated with cycle bottoms. This is where Smart Money and whales tend to absorb supply while fear, disbelief, and pessimism dominate the market.

30 to 70: Markup / Markdown
This is where the trend develops. The market moves away from the extremes of accumulation or distribution and enters expansion or contraction.

70 to 100: Distribution
A region historically associated with cycle maturity, euphoria, and a higher probability of distribution.
I have been bearish since October 2025.

I received a lot of criticism and hate during that period, which is simply part of the game.
But we are getting close to a point where my bias will likely become purely bullish.

And what makes this even more interesting is that this shift begins precisely when most people are afraid.

Afraid to buy.
Afraid of self custody.
Afraid Bitcoin may keep falling.
Lacking hope after months of pain.

That is exactly when I want to focus on what the data is saying, not on what collective sentiment is saying.

The biggest market moves almost never begin when everyone feels comfortable.

They begin when very few are willing to look.
And metrics like this exist for exactly that reason: to identify those moments.
