@justbyte_ This is plan b for me. So I don’t know, I left the coal mines for this and those are pretty much done so I guess I can use my tools and get work as a heavy machinery mechanic.

@ChShersh I started using source tree and have grown to love it. I still have a file with some commands and aliases setup to make some things easier. But 99% of my git usage is done in source tree. It will probably do the other 1% I just haven’t learned how yet.

@fidexcode I gave up on CLI years ago and moved to using source tree. Makes things so much easier and not the hassle of CLI

@whit3hawks @shivi1026 I have found this concept is extremely misunderstood and some even confuse it with multithreading. I’ve seen cases where it was setup causing bottlenecks and hurting performance. I didn’t really get it until I saw a twitch stream where it was explained.

@rlittlesii I 100% agree, if you don’t ask just right it won’t make it right or don’t feed it the errors that come up it won’t be able to fix the issues. But it’s an incredible tool just like Google.

@DanJSiegel I think there will be devs using ai to build the projects and then devs/engineers who are fixing bugs and finishing the work that ai and the other devs couldn’t and the pay will reflect that.

@DanJSiegel My opinion is c# is better. They are close enough that you can work in both but c# feels like you are given a cheat code to accomplish tasks.

@DanJSiegel I got a new phone and like a dummy I didn’t double check that I was logged into all my apps before erasing the old phone to be send for credit and now there’s app I have to call customer support for help logging back in. It can be such a pain

@normanmackay3 I found blue light blocking glasses have helped with the headache. I got a cheap pair to see if they would help and did so now I’m going to get me a decent pair.

@ryanwinchester I think there needs to be more people willing to mentor and have that exact attitude. I was lucky enough to work with a senior dev like that. He was/is willing to break things down and explain them. It has helped me to be better and I know it will help advance me.

@aakash19here @trashh_dev When I first started in software I would write funny stories in the commit messages along with what I did. Then the customers got access to the repo so I decided it best to just stick to what I did.

@allanritchie911 My issue is always the people when they ban something . I have seen entire towns die. I have seen schools loose teachers due to low enrollment and hospitals close due to low population. I lost a job as a coal miner and was lucky to find a new career. Not everyone can be lucky.

@csharpfritz I know someone who works at a boot camp and told him that they need to talk to high schools. I live in rural eastern Ky and people here don’t know they can do that.

@praeclarum I interviewed with an architect and he asked me something I didn’t know and then he explained what it was and I did know it and I told him how I used it. I think it’s all about knowing how to explain what your talking about.

@terrajobst Last year I updated a project for the company I worked for and it reduced cpu usage while making the api calls by 50%. Just by moving away from pcl. Blew me away the difference it made.

@LaurenJBuchman I got laid off Dec 2 2014, I was mad for months over it. It took me months to find work and when I did finally get work, I changed careers. Looking back now it’s the greatest thing to ever happen to me. Loosing the job might not seem like it but it can be for the best.
