Well, it seems like Monolith Soft's website is under maintenance for September 8th, so this could imply Xenoblade Chronicles 3's reveal being imminent in a Nintendo Direct.. 👀👀

I think when they say that it takes place in 2's universe, it's a confirmation of my theory that at the end of Xenoblade 2, they end up in the same "new world" as in Xenoblade 1. This is important to the third one having returning characters from both games.
