Took apart/recycled the 2007 FRC robot - lifted two robots! Each wing had two 125 lb gas springs. the wings were taken off the field by disconnecting wing using two quick release pins. on youtube watch?v=b9rLeu0NYyU

Cleaning the robot storage in my car port. Said goodbye (took apart and recylced aluminum & electronics) to the 2009 Lunacy FRC robot. buttons (a joke) were designed for 2009 as the robot looked like a refrigerator.

XBOT Robotics is graduating 29 HS seniors. Our FTC/FRC vision mentor is heading to Delft University of technology for his masters in computer science/AI. Congrats to all of our seniors!

Robot vision -- 3 main goals.
#1 Planning automatic robot paths that maximize our speed and efficiency when driving.
#2 Automatically tracking open slots for the robot to be able to score points.
#3 Automatically finding the closest game objects to pick up and score

51 students (Franklin and Cleveland HS) have been working three days/week designing, prototyping, building and programming a 125 lb robot for this weekend's FIRST competition.

we had 25 kid for the Fall 2024 FIRST Tech Challenge season. Kids did a great job designing, building and programming their FTC bots!
