A Muslim man smiled at children in a park.
He was punched.
His family were punched beside him.
He was a charity runner.
Part of @SanctuaryRunner.
They use that park regularly.
The charge against him: he smiled at someone's children as he passed.

"They did it themselves."
It doesn't start with the judge.
It starts in the park.
In the comment section.
In five words under a post about good men doing good things.
Guilty before charged.
Punished before tried.
Praised somewhere else.
Just not here.
