IFK Goteborg to Glory Update!
We have reached the quarter finals of the conference league in our first attempt in the first season.
We started the campaign with an 8-0 Agg win over Paide Linnameeskond in the second round.
The Return of IFK Göteborg begins. 🔵⚪️
There was a time when IFK Göteborg weren't just the kings of Sweden—they were feared across Europe.
18 league titles.
2 UEFA Cups.
One of the biggest clubs Scandinavia has ever produced.
But for years they've watched others take their place.
This save is about changing that.
Season One is complete, and we've taken the first step.
🥉 3rd in the Allsvenskan.
🏆 European football secured.
💰 The board have backed the project with a huge €15 million transfer budget.
We're still a long way from where this club belongs, but the foundations are finally there.
The goal isn't just to win Sweden again.
The goal is to make Europe fear IFK Göteborg once more.
One signing at a time.
One season at a time.
The rebuild has begun.

@abhirup_ro53057@Corballyred@martynwarwick No i dont worship them but i respect them and appreciate what they have done. Without them Liverpool would not be a club anymore and none of the past 10 years of success would have happened.
You kidding!! You don't even know a fraction of how badly FSG saved us. If FSG didn't come in when they did and turn the finances of the club around and do everything properly by running it as a sports team unlike most clubs we would have been bankrupt.
They literally saved Liverpool you should show them so much more respect. We were literally like a month or so away from becoming like Sheffield Wednesday or worse Bury.
They are also the ones that ultimately decided to fire Brendan and Hire Klopp so again you need to give them more credit. (I also believe Edwards had a key say in the Klopp appointment) Also Edwards was the key guy behind signing Mane, Salah and Firmino. When Klopp came in he wanted to sign one of his wingers from Dortmund but Edwards provided data and scouting reports to prove that Mane would be a much better signing and then followed it up with Salah.
The amount of fans online that disrespect the owners and even Edwards is a embarrassing. They have helped provide all the great times that have come back just as much as Klopp but in different ways as mentioned above. Also the grass is never ever greener when you have it good and that is exactly what Liverpool have.
You say " Hughes blew a generational amount of money last Summer and set us back years"
The same guy that has praised Kerkez and has said Wirtz will succeed.
Wirtz will come good. Its that old saying it takes a year for a foreign player to settle in. It took most of the great foreign players that before they hit the ground.
Isak has proved it for Sweden at World Cup that he is starting to find his form. Injuries really were cruel to him last year scoring your first premier league goal and breaking your leg. Give him a break.
Kerkez had a solid season overall was just handicapped by the inability from Gakpo to pass to him.
Frimpong was the major disappointment last year but again tbf he's never had those muscle injuries before and comes to Liverpool and gets unfortunate with them.
Could of happened to anyone.
Got to remember they all came into a team that was a shambles all season, no good structure because Slotts man management skills vanished and then Jota death. I don't think any of us can even slightly comprehend what they had to go through last year with the constant reminder every single day in training and games.
Why are you so concerned about who comes from what team?
Were you concerned when we signed Robertson from hull?
What about Mane and VVD from southampton?
Alexis from Brighton?
Maybe Gomez from Charlton?
What about Firmino from Hoffenhiem?
Henderson from Sunderland?
Gini from Newcastle? What about Xabi Alonso from Real Sociedad?
Mascherano from West Ham?
Ekitike from Frankfurt?
You can't just sign everyone from the big boys. Bournemouth were a nightmare for big teams run liverpool all over the park along with several other teams.
Who says the people that installed that couldn't do it at Liverpool.
Do you want to know someone who plays a very similar style... started off with a smaller top division club left for a bigger club who also sing the same anthem as Liverpool and then came to Liverpool and is adored!!!
Jurgen Fucking Klopp.
Started at Mainz similar level to bournemouth now but back then was nowhere near as successful as Bournemouth have been in the hardest league in the world.
You need to calm down and stop criticizing every signing we make or are linked to or manager or coaching or even board members. If you can't support the team and club you shouldn't cheer them on when they win....... (Which you will do come end of the season and you will be showing Iraola all the love etc but making sarcastic comments about it now.
