The deleted opening sequence from #Transformers ROTB featuring one of the best fights of the film between Optimus Prime and Transit.

This was the first sequence that we started to work on since it was supposed to be shown at ComicCon.

We worked really hard on this sequence before it was cut for "being too dark." It is a shame that the version shown below from the deleted scenes doesn't include our latest and greatest VFX work. We delivered a lot more shots at a much more finished state than what can be seen here.

There was even a small additional scene where Optimus throws Transit in the water where you can see a lot of other dead Decepticon bodies and then he looks up at a beam of light (the call for the Autobots to reunite). This was also not included.

Transit was a massive character and since he got really damaged in the fight we had to create a lot of different damage variants for him. All of this work was unfortunately scrapped.

Unfortunately, one of the bad things about working on films is that you are not allowed to show any behind the scenes work that is not directly approved by the production studio. We have a lot of cool stuff to show for this sequence but sadly they will never be seen by the general public. Hopefully one day this can change and we as artists can share behind the scenes looks at our work.
