What a nice temp and nice day to be outside skiing. The new snow has softened the trails a bit and added some nice new glide. This is an #xc105 weekend, free upgrade to @SovereignLake trail pass.

02/12/18: It's #bcfamilyday and a great day to XC, Snowshoe or Fat Bike. It's currently -16, although warmer in the sun, and expected to get to -10 later today. Experience winter with an activity that keeps you warm! @SilverStarMR

02/07/18: yep it’s snowing again. 7cm and counting. We are rolling paradise to comin around the Mtn while the groomer is doing all the lower trails. It’s a good day for classic skiing on skins! @SilverStarMR

02/06/18: looks like it might be a day without snowfall. Maybe? Overcast skies, the sun is trying to poke out and currently -7 at the village level. Have a great day skiing @SilverStarMR

02/04/18: There has been so much snow! Please remember that as it snows we focus our attention on the lower trails and re-groom Meadow, Bridle and Sidewinder, often multiple times. There will still be good skiing! @SilverStarMR

02/01/18: 4cm of snow overnight and there will be a dusting of snow on the recently groomed upper trails. All the snow from last weekend is getting packed firmer and today’s skating surface should be slightly rounded and firm. @SilverStarMR

01/30/17: so much snow over the last 5 days but a break for a good part of this week. We will continue to pack, groom and track set the trails but beware they still may be a bit soft in sections. Temps are staying below 0 so you should have good grip and glide.

01/29/18: another blast of snow overnight but a break this morning before it starts again early this afternoon. We will be trying to get nearly all the upper and lower trails packed, groomed and track set by 10:30am. Note: it will be soft! @SilverStarMR

01/28/18: That was quite the storm yesterday! Almost 20cm in 24hrs and more on the way today. Once again, we will keep the lower trails groomed throughout the day as it snows but the trails will still be very soft. Be light on your skis, smiling helps @SilverStarMR

Update: Strong winds blowing in snow and approx 4 cm on the upper trails already. The lower trails currently have grooming underway. We will do a quick clean of the skate surface on the upper trails then focus on the lowers for the rest of this snowy day.

01/26/17: another few cm’s of snow overnight and overcast skies. It’s -7 at the village level, the slightly colder temp is great, should help the snow to set very well after being tilled. More snow forecasted this weekend. @SilverStarMR
