This thread will mark my arrival on Money Twitter.
Unlike those USA soy boys…
I started from the definition of nothing.
That's why I wanna give $500 in ETH to someone that (hopefully) really needs it:
- Follow me
- Retweet the first tweet
- Comment your ETH adress
14) Fast forward today, 13 months later, built a fantastic team and scaled my agency to £150k/month with only 12 clients (dental & cosmetic).
Meanwhile, I built my second company:
An e-learning company for agency owners that makes +$108k/month.
This is just the beginning...
13) At that point I really started looking for answers.
Started studying veterans like Russell Brunson, Dan Kennedy, Sabri Suby, Alex Hormozi etc.
Hired a media buyer, 2 VAs and created a new offer and a new outreach strategy.
4 months after, I was hitting my first $10k month.
12) At first, I was doing everything.
Creating IG content for romanian entrepreneurs.
First two clients paid me $500/each.
More than I was ever paid at the jobs I had.
I got obssesed.
But shortly, I started burning myself.
I became the prisoner of my own agency.
11) It was my last year in high-school and with my last hope, I got 3 jobs (yes, 3) to save money and start an online agency.
I also started documenting the process seriously.
After 2 months, I quit those jobs and focusedon building my agency.
Took me 7 days to sign 2 clients.
10) I learned all the skills I could:
Marketing, design, sales and how to grow an audience.
What I lacked was the right context to apply them.
I never thought building a real business with the skills I had.
I was just a freelancer.
That's when I came across "agencies”.
9) For two years, I've tried everything you can imagine.
I've tried growing IG theme pages, dropshipping, affiliate marketing, amazon fba, print-on-demand...
Heck, I even delivered food on a skateboard.
NOTHING worked.
I was desperate.
8) If I wasn't doing something, I had nothing to eat.
But worse...
If I didn't do something, I let my parents down.
I couldn't accept that.
That's when I started looking for ways to make money online.
And I went down the rabbit hole…
7) Even though my business was working, I wasn't satisfied.
I knew I could do more.
So at 16 I left home and moved to the capital.
With no plan and less than $300 in my pocket.
From my parents' house, straight into the dorm with 3 other guys.
Now everything was perfect.
6) A week later, I was selling oatmeal to everyone.
+100 orders per week.
My mom was helping me fulfil all the orders in our little kitchen.
Shortly, I started making more money than my parents with my small oatmeal business called Oatjoy.
Everything went perfect, but...
5) At first I created a few samples to give to friends.
My pitch was simple: only if you liked it, share it on your story and tag me.
It was 2018, Instagram was popping in Romania.
The next day, I had +50 people asking me how they could order from me.
I coudn't believe it.
4) At 16, I became obsessed with cooking.
I was the only weirdo in my small town high school who came with tupperwares.
But people around me were starting to get curious about what I was cooking.
That was my first Evrika moment.
Selling oatmeal in high school.
3) Fortunately, I confessed I had a problem and asked for help.
Felt like I got the 2nd change to live.
I hated myself for making my loved ones suffer.
All I did for the next 2 years was eat 6 times a day, workout twice a day and learn everything I could to heal myself.
2) I used to be the fat kid of the group.
Playing CS:GO all day and eating shitty food.
But att 14, my life turned upside down.
I was diagnosed with anorexia.
In 10 months, I went from 75kg to 37kg.
My whole body was breaking apart and I was given a few more months to live.
The back-story:
I was born in a small town from Romania. My mom was an accountant and my dad was a retired firefighter.
We always had money problems. Living paycheck to paycheck is the norm in Romania.
They used to tell me “Money doesn’t grow on trees” whenever I wanted a toy.
I made over $1m by the age of 20.
Here’s what I learned starting with 0 in a post-communist country and being on the brink of death.
