@ItsKieranDrew And build an abundance of resilience

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

@DanielPriestley You can at the start.

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

@robprogressive Agreed but you take it further… the UK SME makes up 99.9% of all UK private businesses and accounts for nearly 60% of employment!

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

@AlanJLSmith Theyve built some excellent walls to block growth!

Do you think AI is good enough yet to find the same post twice on LinkedIn?

I imagine that’s the bar they’re setting at @OpenAI achieving that will mean AGI is close.

No human has achieved it, no human has ever refreshed their feed and managed to find the previous post again.

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

@HeyZeeshanX Always schedule any weekend emails to actually send Monday. No one else needs to be bothered on a weekend.

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

Love the “we need to sort the culture” comments in the Senior Management/ Board Meetings… it’s as if some other dynamic is actually responsible for it…

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

Supervisor meeting Monday 9am… guess what the weekend means! #phdlife

Can you confirm you’re holding rates on this one, I know it says 30 days but we’re ready to place the order. Checks quote, September ‘22…

In all honesty we’ll probably go with it on the basis of contribution to overhead and delivery requirements but looking at margin expectations from ‘22 vs the current run rate is scary!

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

@consumerofmonch Whilst not ignoring the immediate challenges of course!

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

I really don’t understand why the Government doesn’t introduce a tiered tax system to get people back to work.

A 0% rate for the first xx months up to a fixed amount, then phasing into normal taxation over xx months, makes sense.

It’s a win-win: it reduces the welfare bill, gets people working, and eventually generates tax revenue.

The challenge is finding suitable jobs, and why two employees on the same salary should have different rates—but we’ve got to try something, haven’t we?

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

@consumerofmonch A fair point there! Didn’t actually think of that!!!

On the policy point, totally 💯 agree with you. Doing anything is harder now and there just seems to be more and more obstacles, policy is so short sighted. We need to start looking longer term.

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

@JamesMelville Although there’s is a difference in “saying” and “doing” - not much seems to actually get built!!!

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

The new Tesla roadster got the desired target market reaction in our house…

“what??? It’s like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” 🤣🤣

I bet @elonmusk would be over the moon with that!

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

@Markmanson Yes!

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

Remember the good old days when the phrase people buy from people was actually true…

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

@Denche2005 Dave?

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

I reckon the everyone will be running side hustles of the side hustles at this rate and not focussing on the hustle or the side side hustles… #focus

[Graeme @XenonInsight]

On one hand the advancement of AI makes my job way easier, but on the other, I feel like now I’ve got more that I should be doing that I didn’t even know I wasn’t doing before!

It’s a little mind blowing really!
