Trump says ICE is going after criminals, but in reality he’s locking up people like the spouses and family members of military servicemembers. His priorities are completely backward. These are the loved ones of people risking their lives for our freedoms.

I know some of them personally and fought for their releases. Annie Ramos was detained just days after her wedding to a US soldier. Maria Pelaez, a grandmother whose son is a Marine, was detained while caring for her grandson on MCAS Yuma base.

Arresting them doesn’t make our country safer. It’s just more cruelty from this Administration.
