The most important thing is to have a solid base/skeleton and prioritize movement. And then add character details on top.
Still not the biggest fan of A/B/C atm, as they dont feel good
My canvas sizing at MINIMUM is 3500 × 3500 pixels. Usually I draw between 4000-6500 px, copy the final piece, sharpen it at 50% opacity, and resize the final product closer to 1200-2000 px to post on social media. My pieces tend to look much crisper and sharper after that :)
