I had a theory where michael afton possessed Freddy, that’s why he isn’t trying to kill us. Well, it’s show in SB: Ruins that, rebooting an animatronic removes malicious intent and brings them back to normal. Since Freddy reboots earlier in the game (FNAF: SB), he acts as normal.
