Michael Lomas, who admitted to his role in the R745 million Eskom corruption scheme, received a wholly suspended sentence under a deal with the IDAC. His Black co-accused, Maphoko Hudson Kgomoeswana, was sentenced to 5 years’ direct imprisonment for stealing R6 million.
What kind of sentencing is this? Almost a billion lost in corruption & he gets to go home? If our courts & NPA are so lenient on corruption, how the hell do they imagine the war against it will be won? At this stage of our democracy & development, corruption of this magnitude is the biggest cause of state and developmental failure!

General Mkhwanazi is a credible policeman, put some respect to his name. Allow Judge Madlanga to finish his job instead of casting aspersions on credible policemen and women in a crowd of questionable characters. This must be frowned upon by all citizens.
