It’s astonishing that if you’re <30, went to uni, have 2 kids and are earning £50k per year, getting a 10% pay rise will only leave you £34 a month better off. No wonder there’s a generation of “quiet quitters” — why on earth would ppl in that position push themselves at work?

Jordan isn’t a shit stirrer though is he. He literally just calls the bullshit out when he hears it. He’s spoken no lies, fabricated nothing. Luke said what he said and Jay deserves better #MAFSUK
Hi Gillian,
A few tips:
1. Pay teachers and academic staff wages that reflect the great work they do & they won’t be on strike
2. Give them real classrooms rather than RAAC deathtraps
3. Get class sizes back under control, preferably through a combination of building more schools & hiring more teachers (which wouldn’t be too hard if you paid them right)
