I’ve noticed that a lot of feminist women have a ridiculous misconception that all men are abusive.

I asked one of the men-hating women why she hates men, and she said every woman she knows is dating an asshole. I asked about her own experiences with men, and she said she had two boyfriends who were kind to her but dumped them because they were boring. There was no hesitation in her voice—she saw no connection between her complaints of men being assholes and dumping kind boyfriends she deemed boring.

I think democracy optimizes for women’s (and, to a lesser extent, men’s) acute emotional desires such that victimhood narratives are selected and evolve to become unquestionable dogma. This leads to mass delusions about reality and, ultimately, distress and dysfunction, of which “I hate men” is the outward manifestation. That poor girl was simply the product of a society that deems the emotionally immature part of herself worthy of being enshrined in culture and policy.
