“He has childhood trauma.” So do I.
“He’s under a lot of pressure at work.” So am I.
“He’s just overwhelmed.” Me too.
The only difference is that we excuse men’s behavior, and shame women for not carrying it.
I need everyone to differentiate Keith Porter Jr’s murder bc it is an egregious example of the times we are living in- he wasn’t murdered by ICE during an immigration action nor protest. A random man murdered him in his own yard &used his position as ICE agent to get away with it
Carl speech to Aniya: “she’s beautiful, she’s sweet, good head on her shoulders, she makes me feel at home”
KC speech to Titi: “she defends me, she protects me; when I wasn’t picked on day one and nobody was at my door, she was sequestered in her hotel room plotting to pick me”
Even if you don’t live in NYC, please retweet this and get the word out so that the ppl in YOUR city also learn that they too can have politicians who get things done if they mobilize and vote socialist in other elections! 🗣️
Katie Miller has a master's degree and a career. It appears that she has consistently worked since she was 20. She can open a bank account, own property, and have a credit card in her name. She has access to no-fault divorce and would be entitled to child support for her baby if she and Stephen Miller divorce. She has laws protecting her against physical abuse and rape by her spouse. She had access to birth control and abortion, meaning that having a baby was a choice.
She is very much not living the life that the "propaganda. . . convinced" women was oppressive. She is living the life that feminism made possible.
Of course, she knows this. She's just a liar.
Open the schools!
The average age for menopause is 51. You’d be *21* by the time your mom reached menopause if she had you at 30. Well past puberty.
ARE Y’ALL OKAY?!?!?
His name is John Mendoza Jr. He was an eighteen-year-old freshman at Texas State University, described by those who knew him as a “respectful young man who never gave anybody any problems.”
John was killed by Brazoria County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Tippit on June 1st.
The story started with Mendoza coming home from Texas State University for the summer. He was driving with friends when Tippit attempted to pull him over in Lake Jackson. Surveillance video captured the short pursuit after deputies said Mendoza didn't stop.
It ended in John's parents' garage when Tippit shot him inside his car; Mendoza was unarmed. His grieving family came together with the community to demand the truth. We will continue to support the Mendoza family until they receive justice, transparency, and answers.
The gag order lifted. And the mask came off with it.
After sentencing, Austin Metcalf’s father Jeff Metcalf went live on TikTok and was caught on a racist rant about Karmelo Anthony, including calling him a “watermelon felon,” saying Black people get “all the free sh*t we give you,” claiming “400 years ago someone sold you to us,” and attacking Black fathers for not being involved in their children’s lives.
This is the same man who stood in that courtroom and said “this was never about race.”
The prosecution struck every qualified Black juror from the panel. A gag order silenced public response for nearly a year. And the moment the muzzle came off, this is who he showed us he was.
Karmelo Anthony did not get a fair trial. And now the victim’s own father has confirmed in his own words what this community has known from the beginning.

What bothers me most about Karmelo Anthony’s verdict? First-degree murder means the jury feels Karmelo viciously attacked Austin, a total stranger to him, in an intentional, deliberate rage. They’re saying that he set out to purposefully kill someone he didn’t know, over a bleacher seat, in the middle of a chaperoned high school event.
Even if the jury decided Karmelo still needed to accept some level of guilt in a life being lost — a 35-year prison sentence and a first degree murder-conviction means the jury doesn’t see this as the tragic, tragic mistake between two young teens that it is.
They’re telling us Karmelo set out to end Austin’s life on purpose and with full intent.
When in reality, I think this is a regret and heartbreak Karmelo will carry for the rest of his life
This is ridiculous article. If a woman is having fertility issues at the unusually early age of 33, that is something that could have only be detected by preventative care.
Does the article advocate for providing care that detects such issues and thereby enables allows women to make rational choices about their own bodies' individual and unique capacities?
No, it advocates for shaming all women for not having babies younger, despite the fact that the woman in the article is experiencing perimenopause about ten years earlier than most women.
More misogynistic populist slop. Women do not go through perimenopause at 33. This is fear-mongering garbage.
In 2012 i was diagnosed with a deadly blood disorder known as TTP. I was in the hospital for a month. A white nurse almost killed me because she thought i was drug seeking. I kept telling her my central line in my groin was hurting& she wouldn’t give me any morphine just Tylenol.
I went septic later on that night because of the central line. I went into SVT and had to go to cardiac ICU for a week. I was 18. My TTP flared up again in 2016 and i went to the ER. I told the (white) doctor that i had TTP and that i needed to be admitted. He had my records right in front of him. I was just there 4 years earlier, the same hospital diagnosed me.
He told me that i didn’t have TTP…i had ITP. He sent me home with steroids and pain meds. I cried and cried and sat at home all weekend until i could get to my hematologist. I called them and they had me come in immediately. Got labs drawn…my hemoglobin and platelets were VERY low. They did a direct admit: I had to get 14 bags of platelets and 3 bags of blood. My hematologist and his NP told me if i would’ve waited any longer i would’ve died.
More recently in 2022 i went to a freestanding ED because i thought i had the flu. I was in pain, my blood pressure was elevated, i had a fever. I told the black NP that i have TTP and asked them to do a cbc and ADAMTS13 level if they could. I got pain meds, waited for the (white) doc to come and see me. He told me ny labs were “fine” and that i just had a stomach virus. I didn’t believe that so i asked him what my platelet count was. He told me 30k (normal platelet count in non chemo patients are 150k-400k) i almost lost my shit on him.
He went back and further with me for 10 minutes about how i wasn’t having a TTP flare up and i told him to call the fucking hospital that I’m usually treated at and find me a bed. He begrudgingly did it. He came back not even 10 minutes later and said that the hospital i usually go to was full (it was around Christmas time) but after the on call hematologist at the level 1 trauma center downtown saw my blood work they wanted me to come in IMMEDIATELY. Hematologist told me if i would’ve waited any longer i would’ve been dead before Christmas.
Every time that I’ve almost died it was either at the hands of a white nurse or doctor. They don’t take our pain or complaints seriously! They think we are drug addicts. I literally became a nurse because of this. We need black doctors. That lawsuit is just a bunch of fucking racists who are mad. Fuck them.
I don’t think enough people realize he isn’t the sole problem. If he passes while in office we will still be left with his administration as well as have JD Vance as president.
Things will not magically fix themselves with his passing. In fact things will continue to be bad for a long time post Trump because that is how much damage he has done. This will not be fixed for a long time.
A man's desire to become a father is always paid for by a woman with her body, her health, her career, and her freedom.
But when a woman expects a comfortable life, she is somehow shamed for wanting too much
Hi, so the woman who carried and gave birth to me was 13 years old, celebrated her 14th birthday only days before I was born. I should’ve been aborted. It’s really terrible that she was made to carry and birth a baby while she was a child herself.
Am I happy to be alive? Yes. Absolutely. Very happy to be here. Would I be mad had I been aborted? No, I wouldn’t exist, I wouldn’t feel anything. I shouldn’t exist. She was a child. The lives of girls/women are more valuable than fetuses.
one minute out the villa people were already saying to stop making her relationship her brand.
people questioned why she went silent for a week when she was figuring out her team.
people pushed for her to do influencer work and questioned the reliability of her team because she wasn’t posting as much as they pleased.
people said she was too short to enter the fashion space, made comments about her body and looks.
after she exceeded all those expectations people proceeded to question the integrity of her relationship because she was career focused, and many colourist and racist undertones.
once in the fashion space, getting love, on covers of big magazines, posted by big publications, deals + partnerships with exclusive brands, and at fashion weeks people said she bought it all.
they hate that she not only exceeded their expectations but she’s become the blueprint for not just black women but women in general to transition from reality star to a genuine celebrity with pop cultural relevancy!!
