Let me guess Aaron, could it possibly be improved hygiene and sanitation?
The longest ongoing epidemic that we have... tooth decay.. could be solved by simply improving hygiene habits. Fluoride, hydroxy, STMP, all just strengthen the enamel to varying degrees. (STMP being the best at this job) Strengthening the enamel isn't hygiene, using xylitol to get rid of the strep mutans, now that is improved hygiene. Epidemics/ pandemics are ALMOST ALWAYS solved by improved hygiene and sanitation.

No, it's not just a bit of gum disease!

'There is overwhelming evidence of the association of CKD and PO'

CKD=Chronic kidney disease
PO=Periodontitis (gum disease)

@ElieJarrougeMD Are you discussing oral and nasal hygiene?

Good diet -> Oral health -> systemic health !!!

@DrMetal @ifixhearts Xylitol doesn't just block adhesion of bacteria... it also blocks RSV, Sars-Cov-2, H1N1, and a variety of others... it doesn't block rhinoviruses, but we are working on that.

Everything you could want to know about F.nucleatum.

In short, F.nucleatum is a common gum disease bacterium species which escapes the mouth and kills humans, slowly.

(Other lethal gum disease bacteria species are available.)

Q. How do gum disease bacteria cause pregnancy complications?

A. They escape the mouth via the bloodstream and damage placental/umbilical/foetal blood vessels.

(How long will it be before we get what this means?)

@scott_squires I tried Enovid. Didn't notice a positive effect. Expensive. Mostly ran out of my nose.
I prefer Xlear and azelastine nasal sprays.

Fall is here 🍂and so is ragweed season. Pollen, dust, and leaf mold can leave your nose irritated and congested. Xlear Max nasal spray is tough on congestion but easy on the nose. A combination of xylitol, saline, and capsicum for effective results without the drugs.

Question: What do gum disease and autoimmune diseases have in common?

Answer: Gum disease bacteria (both in your gums and all over your body)

Endogenous GLP-1 secretion is meal-dependent and relatively modest compared with pharmacologic doses. That difference in magnitude is important when people compare “natural” approaches with GLP-1 receptor agonists.

Challenge to all doctors:
Look up gum disease bacteria.
You will you learn about cancers of the gut.

NOTE: Gum disease bacteria get to the gut via two routes - 1) swallowing and 2) leaking into the bloodstream via damaged gums
