My new RTX 5080 wouldn't even turn on with the 850W PSU, and everything I read said it would be enough. I ran to Best Buy and bought a 1000W PSU and it fired right up.

Well I decided to update my pc motherboard with GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS Elite, and an Intel core Ultra 7 270k plus cpu, and 32GB RAM 6000mhz. I haven't decided I I should stay with the rtx 4070 super or go with the rtx 5070 ti or 5080

Hummm.... Spend $1,300 to update the motherboard, cpu, and ram on my pc, or squeeze a few more years out of my Asus Z490-P motherboard, Intel i7-10700k cpu, and 32gb DDR4? Hummm.......

Swapping out the dinosaur 650W PSU for a 850W.

Dayum! Sum-ah-bah-beeeach! RAM memory chips are expensive af. Updated my gaming rig from 16gb to 32 gb 3600MHz.
