i’m confused, why does tommy seem more open to the idea of wanda and vision being his parents than billy? Billy seemed like he hated wanda😭 but tommy seems eager and happy to know he has a family out there.

i think billy partially restored tommy’s memories. and that thomas shepherd kid had a tough life. having someone who called you her son is probably the closest thing he had to feeling like he belonged

Billy doesn’t have the memories of his life inside the Hex, so he doesn’t remember Wanda and Vision as his parents. He only knows that Wanda was his mother, without actually remembering the love, affection and family they shared. And when he learns about her, most of what he hears is connected to everything that happened after WandaVision, so it’s understandable that he wouldn’t have the same emotional attachment to her.
Tommy seems different. Even if his memories aren’t completely clear, he appears to have little fragments of his life as Wanda’s son, which could explain why he seems much more open to the idea that Wanda and Vision were his parents and why knowing he had a family seems to mean so much to him.
